Mrs. Maggie Moore, 86, of Lafayette, died Saturday morning at her Bernice residence following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were to be held at 10 a.m. today at Kilpatrick's Funeral Chapel in Bernice with the Rev. Oscar Bradford officiating. Burial was to take place in the Bernice Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Gussie Moore of Lafayette; two stepsons, Grady Moore of Leesville and Palmer Moore of Bernice; one step-daughter, Mrs. Frank Hathorn of LeCompte; five sisters, Mrs. Oswald Fomby of Homer, Mrs. Cleo Turner of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Lula Powell of Irving, Tex., Mrs. Joseph Woodard of Ruston, Mrs. Ernest Colvin of Dubach; two brothers, Collin Mitchell of Monroe and Hill Mitchell of Ruston.
