Jane was the daughter of David Comstock and Polly Morrison. Jane married Nathaniel Henry Parsons Jr. Dec. 18, 1845. Together they had William and Martha. Nathaniel died on Sept. 23, 1850 and is buried in Butler Cem., Fulton Co.,Ohio. Jane then married Jonas Compton, May 22, 1854, in Lenawee Co, MI. They had one son Frank. Jonas was in the Civil War and died of illness. He is buried in Louisiana. Jane then married James M. Hough, March 20, 1884, in Morenci, Lenawee, Michigan.
Jane's death certificate gives her name as Jane Ann Comstock, died Feb. 9,1903 in Victory Twp., Mason Co., Michigan. She is buried next to her son William H. Parsons and his wife Sarah Ann Chandler, as Jane Hough.
