MITCHELL - Harold H. "Griz" Adams, 61, R. 2, Mitchell, died at 11 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford.

Born in Delia, Kansas, he was the son of Guy and Mabel (Paslay) Adams. He married Gwen Canfield on Aug. 19, 1967, and she survives.

He was an employee of Otis Elevator, Bloomington; and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Surviving with the wife are three sons: Philip Adams of Chanute, Kansas, Dennis Adams of Mitchell and Jamey Adams of Folsomville; one sister, Anna Starkey of Topeka, Kansas; and six grandchildren.

One sister and two brothers preceded him in death.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Haverly Mortuary, Mitchell, with Bro. Geoff Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post 250 and VFW Post 9107 of Mitchell.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
