Rudolph H. "Rudy" Bliesener, 82, of 1326 N.7th, died Saturday, September 30, in Klein Unit of Burlington Medical Center. Born April 27th 1896 in Burlington, he was the son of Frederick and Dorothea Wiswedel Bliesener. He married Helen Russell on July 17th, 1918, in Burlington. He was a retired Burlington Northern railroad emplyee, WW1 Army Veteran, and a member of First United Church of Christ, Brotherhood of Railway Clerks, Patriots Lodge AF&AM, and Eagles. Surviving: The wife; two sons, Sanford and Ronald, both of Burlington; a daughter, Dorothy Bliesener, Middletown; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Esther (Glenn) Whitham, Burlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, Lunning Chapel, Rev, Alvin Volle; Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
