Charles Robert (Bob) Ayers
Bob, as he was known by family and friends, was born Feb. 18, 1919 to Warren T. Ayers and Nellie (Baty) Ayers in Riverside, Wash. He had lived all but two years of his 88 in Riverside and the South Pine Creek area.
He married Bertha E. Utt in Omak on June 15, 1944. His first year of school he attended the Pat Miller school on South Pine Creek, which he and his wife purchased as part of their family ranch in 1949.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bertha; their four sons and their wives, Robert E. (Bunk) and Barb, R.Wayne and Lorie, Steve L. and Kandie and John L. and Marcy, all of South Pine Creek; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at Wayne and Lori Ayers' home following the graveside services.
Legacy Memorial Funeral Home has been entrused with the arrangements.
