Kenny Sims Is Buried

Funeral services for Kenneth Don Sims, 17, of Davis were held Friday, June 5, at 3:00 p.m. in the East Main Church of Christ. P. E. Traylor and Charles Kymes officiated at the service. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery, and arrangements were made by Bahner Funeral Home of Davis.

Kenneth was killed in a two-vehicle accident June 3 on a county road south of Davis. He was born Nov. 18, 1952, in Los Angeles, Calif., but had lived most of his life in Davis. He completed his junior year of high school this spring and was an active member of the Future Farmers of America.

He made his home with his grandparents Mr. And Mrs. Clarence Sims.

Pallbearers were Brian England, Lowell McConnell, Mike Lee, Rocky Arms, Ricky Sager, and Randy Archer.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Mr. And Mrs. Don Sims of Davis; his mother, Mrs. Nioma Short of Oklahoma City; two half-brothers, Mike McCuran and Russell Sims, a step sister Sharon Besheres, grandparents Mr. And Mrs. Clarence Sims of Davis, Ted Hamilton of Odessa, Tex., and Mrs. Ted Hamilton of Okmulgee, Okla.
