Matron Expires At Sweetwater
"Hawthorne Jan 7, 1932 - Kenneth Roach, bookkeeper for the Mineral County Power System, received a telephone call from Bodie Wednesday morning, stating that his mother had died at her home in Sweetwater and asking him to come at once and
brig the coroner with him. The message was relayed to Mr. Roach from Bodie as having come from Bridgeport but no details were given. The fact that the presence of the coroner was requested would lend to the belief that the death was an accident.
Walter McKeough drove Mr. Roach home an took Coroner E. M. Ferrell with him.
Mrs. Anna M. Roach was the wife of W. H. Roach of Sweetwater and was engaged as school teacher at the Sweetwater School."
