(From Our Own Correspondent) CARDSTON, Sept. 2—Labor day became a day of mourning In Cardston three deaths occurring. Mrs. Rose Gold, 30 years; John Franks, 55 years, and Andrew Archibald, 65 years, all succumbed during the day and evening. Mr, Franks and Mr. Archibald were pioneers in southern Alberta the latter being In the original company to settle Cardston in 1887. It Is a coincidence that his death occurred one year to the day after Ms. wife's passing, his wish at the time being that he could live at least one more year. He did live exactly one year.
