Rebecca was the fifth child, the 2nd daughter of Gustavus Elgin Sr and Rebecca Thrift.

She married John Littleton 15 Sep 1835 in Loudoun County, Virginia. They had no children.

Her tombstone can be seen at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia.

Tombstone’s in the Thomas G. Elgin Lot 196, in the Union Cemetery

Thomas G. Elgin is the owner of the Lot number 196, Plat A. He is buried beside his wife Mollie E. Elgin. As you look to the West or front of his tombstone there are 12 sites in this lot number 196.

The actual burials with people buried here are in plot's 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 11. The other plots have markers that were moved to this the Union Cemetery around April 3, 1946 by Mr. Ford from the Elgin Family Cemetery also in Loudoun County.
