William J. Goff , 75, of 217 Allen St., East Syracuse, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Goff was a life resident of East Syracuse. He retired from New Process Gear in 1975 as a budget executive after 37 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was a member of St. Matthew's Church in East Syracuse.
Mr. Goff was finance officer and life member of Arthur Butler American Legion Post 359 and a life member of Simon Parise VFW Post 9596. He also was a member of the management club at New Process Gear.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy "Peg" Dempster; four daughters, Peggy Kieb of Cicero, Nancy DiMicco and Diane Clark, both of Bridgeport and Patty Kostine of East Syracuse; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Delany & Greabell Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse.
