Born June 14, 1911, in Caruthersville, she was the daughter of the late Goah and Della Speight Anderson.
On Dec. 21, 1933, in Steele, she married Gene Dorris, who preceded her in death.
One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Donald Dorris; four daughters, Patricia Souders, Linda Lawrence and Donna Fay Ware and Holly Irene Chappell; two brothers, Winfield Anderson and Cleo Anderson; two sisters, Beatrice Seitz and Frances Matthews; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn. The Rev. Travis Lambert will officiate.
