Daughters, (2) Louisa Barnes (McDonald (1900 census)) (McDonell (1880 census) the name was different in articles and censuses, (sp. Donald (1838 Canada-). However, the Limestone Cemetery has her as McDonell and also, in her father's obit, I believe that is her married name, and daughter, (3) Minnie Barnes Meeker (1858- 1906 or 08) (Daniel (1858-)).

The funeral of Robert B. Barnes was held at the M. E. Church, Wednesday afternoon, Mrs, Clara Watson of Jamestown officiating. Deceased, lived with his daughter, Mrs. D. J. MacDonell, most of the past twenty-five years. He was ninty years old the 23rd of last February. He had been confined to his room four years last November. Mrs. Minnie Meeker had cared for him almost exclusively for two years. He leaves one son Hosea Barnes of Kenosha, Wis., Mrs D. J. McDonell, and Mrs. Meekers, daughters. In attendance from away were R. A. Barnes of Albion, Pa., nephew, and Frank Larabee and and wife of Eddyville, this county.
