Catherine Claire Richard, age 14, and her best friend Alexis Kathryn Heinen, also 14, passed away in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital on September 6, 2008, due to injuries sustained in a 4-wheeler accident.
Miss Richard was born in Jennings, LA, to Albert "Tee" Richard Jr. and Karan Fontenot Richard. She was a student at Bethel Christian School in Jennings. She loved shopping, dancing, and just being with her friends and family. She was so full of life and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held on September 9, 2008, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings. She was laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
Catherine is survived by her parents; grandparents, Erlene and Albert Richard and Carole and Paul Fontenot; brother, Scott Albert Richard; sister and brother-in-law, Kayla Ann and Ross Bruchhaus; and one nephew, Ramsey Bruchhaus.
