Fayette Camp Boies was the son of Lafayette C Boies and Nancy Nelson.
He was first married to Amy E Randolph on February 22, 1866 in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. He and Amy had the following children: Edwin Randolph, Fayette C C Boies and Ewell L Boies.
Fayette's second marriage was to Clarinda A Jolly. They were married on February 5, 1874 in Richland Parish, Louisiana. Fayette and Clarinda had the following children:

Fayette served with in Company B 27th Louisiana Infantry during the Civil War. He enlisted on April 28, 1862 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He served during the siege of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
