Greenville- Mrs. Eva Jane Waldrop O`Shields Trotter 93, of 20 Sixth ave, Poe Mill Community of Greenville, widow of Henry R. Trotter, died Saturday, September 18,1993 at Baptist Medical Center, Easley after a three- month illness.
Born September 17,1900 in Greenville county, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lida Burns Waldrop. She had lived most of her life in the Greenville area and attended Poe Baptist Church.
Her first marriage was to the late Grady O`Shields.Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Ella O. Carver Rogers of Lexington N.C. Mrs. Naomi O. Reynolds of Central, S.C. Mrs. Bealah O. Fowler Frasure of Travelers Rest, S.C. and Mrs. Barbara O. Sloan of Greenville. S.C. two sons, Hoy O`Shields of Easley S.C. and George O`Shields of Greer, S.C. thirty-seven grandchilden; eighty five greatgrand-children; forty-nine great-great-grand-children and one greatgreat-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Trotter was predeceased by a daughter, Maci O. McCall and a son, Lawrence Grady O`Shields Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Downtown Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Visition will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
