Services were at 3:30 p. m. yesterday at Manchester Funeral home, with Bobby Jones of Raus officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hazel Mae Gilmer; two sons, Jones Roy Gilmer of Nashville and Jimmy Lee Gilmer of Lavergne; three daughters, Mrs. C. Newman Jr, Hillsboro; Mrs. Hubert Knight, Decherd; Mrs. Steve Nabors, Manchester; mother, Mrs. Sallie Ann Gilmer, Hillsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Thurman of Hazel Park, Mich., and Miss Flossie Gilmer of Hillsboro ; five brothers, Paul, Horace, Carl and Herman Gilmer, all of Hillsboro, Tony Gilmer, Manchester; six grandchildren.
