Mr. Willette was lifelong resident of Forrest County and was a retired carpenter and painter. He was a member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Brumbaugh of Petal, Mrs. Ann Chambliss, Mrs. Jane Gordon and Mrs. Helen Solvinie, all of Hattiesburg, and Mrs. Ruth Seller of Moss Point; four sons, Charles Willette and James Robert Willette, both of Hattiesburg, Thomas H Willette of Laplace, La., and John Willette, U.S. Air Force, Germany; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Black of Petal; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral.
