HEPLER, CARRIE LUEMMA (HENRY) - Mrs. Hepler, Rimersburg RD Resident, Dies- SLIGO - Mrs. Carrie Luemma Hepler, 76, of Rimersburg RD1, widow of Carnathon Sloan Hepler, died at 5:05 a.m. Wednesday in the Butler Hospital. She was born May 21, 1894, in Monroe Township, Clarion County, the daughter of Thomas M. and Ella Magness Henry. On December 24, 1914, she and Mr. Hepler were married. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1963. She was a member of St. Mark Church of Christ in Monroe. Mrs. Hepler is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Nellie) Stitt of Rimersburg RD1; one son, Norman K. Hepler of Knox RD2, 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one step-son, Sloan Delp Hepler of Tampa, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Velvie Dunkle of Sligo, Mrs. Stella Bracken of Reynoldsville, Mrs. Lottie Mercer of Sligo, Mrs. Carlton (Blanche) Murray of Sligo, Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Mercer of Sligo RD; and one brother, Walter Henry of Pittsburgh. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband, were one infant daughter, two step-daughters, one granddaughter, and one sister, Martha. Friends are being received at the Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Ralph Anderson, pastor of the Baker Street Church of God in Rimersburg officiating. Interment will be in the Monroe Cemetery. Source: 5/21/1971 Oil City Derrick
