CRYSTAL LAKE – Rosemary Kuetemeyer, of Crystal Lake and formerly of Brookfield, Wis., died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.

She was born in Fond du Lac, Wis., to John and Susan Simon. She married John Kuetemeyer in 1934 in Milwaukee.

She took pride in being a sales manager at Yardley Plastics of Milwaukee, Marbro Plastic, and Avon Products. Mrs. Kuetemeyer was a volunteer at Brookfield Memorial Hospital, and as a resident of The Fountains of Crystal Lake, she started the Pinochle Club and enjoyed playing bingo.

Survivors include two sons, Warren and John Kuetemeyer; seven grandchildren, Sherry (Tom) Henning, Lorelei (Dan) Branda, Julie (Guy) McCarthy, Marie (Jeff) Gary, Valarie (Tom) Phillips, Gregg (Lauren) Kuetemeyer and Kathy (Jim) Washburn; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie Bothe.

She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers; and four sisters.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. Christian wake service Monday, June 28, at Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 W. Route 14, Crystal Lake. The Rev. Jose Seco will officiate. An interment committal service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
