He was the husband of Shirley M. Bare Blauch, with whome he celebrated 45 years of marriage.
He was born in Lebanon on December 8, 1938,a son of the late William and Helen Whitman Blauch. He had worked at Sheridan Supply Company for over 20 years. He was a member of the Victory Chapel in Hamburg and was a member of R. Field and Stream of Lebanon. He enjoyed playing Bingo and card games and was an avid Phillies fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Samuel and wife Brenda Bogner Blauch, Palmyra, James and wife Sandy Fry Blauch, Lebanon, Lisa, wife of Kevin Bickel, Myerstown, John and wife Lisa Taraschi Blauch, Lebanon, Michael Blauch, Lebanon, Steven and wife Laura Swank Blauch, Lebanon, Scott Blauch, Ann -ville, and Jason Blauch, Myerstown; 23
grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, William Blauch, Lebanon, Robert and wife Lena Blauch, Jonestown, John and wife Ann Blauch, Lebanon; sisters, Barbara Gloud, Lebanon and Georgeanna Bossier, Lebanon. He was preceded in death by brother, Melvin Blauch and sister, Helen Bare.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m., in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Viewing will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
