Born February 8, 1909 in Salt Lake City to Frank David and Caroline Mace Jones. Married William Caleb Luker June 3, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
An active church member, she served in the Primary and Relief Society and the Boy Scouts of America; also served as PTA President when her children were young. Everything she did was with her family in mind.
Besides her loving husband, she leaves one son, William Craig (Janice) Luker; three daughters, Bonnie Jean (Kent) Curtis, Dolores (Don) Anderson, and LaVerne Walton. Sixteen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren will ever remember the fun traditions and good food Grandma always provided. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank M. and William R. Jones; sisters, Marie Barlow and Lorraine Schetselaar.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 16, 1997 at 12:00 p.m. in the Jefferson Ward Chapel, 1883 South West Temple Street. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), and on Friday at the Church 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
