Greer, with burial in Anderson Cemetery, Indianapolis. She was born July 28, 1916 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Bert E. and Nettie Pitcher Whitinger. She died Monday, December 4 at her home. Mrs. Byrd was a bookkeeper for Peoples Bank and Trust Company, Indianapolis. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Karen Thomas, Plainfield; two grandsons; sisters, Mrs. Florence Root and Mrs. Edna Cavender, both of Indianapolis.
