Mrs. F. Busch, Early Resident Here, Summoned -- Funeral services at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here Thursday morning at 10 o'clock

Mrs. Anna M. Busch, widow of Frederick Busch, pioneer Red Wing banker, and one of the early residents of Red Wing, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P.W. McKasy, 964 Portland Avenue, St. Paul, Monday morning at about 7 o'clock. She suffered a heart attack about a week ago, but made such splendid progress toward recovery that it was thought the danger had passed. Monday morning, while up and around, she suddenly collapsed and died a few minutes later. Anna M. Weimar, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Weimar, was born in Germany on August 28, 1846. She came to America with her parents and settled in Red Wing when ten years of age. Eight years later she was married to Frederick Busch, who was prominent in banking circles here, having served for many years as president of the Goodhue County National Bank. He died in 1908. A year later Mrs. Busch removed to St. Paul, which had been her home since. Mrs. Busch was a most faithful member of St. Joseph's church and during her residence in Reding Wing was most active in promoting the work of the parish. Her former home on Seventh street was her gift to the parish and it is now being used as the home of the sisters at St. Joseph's school. Surviving are eight children. They are: Rt. Rev. Jos. F. Busch, Bishop of St. Cloud; Rev. Francis Busch of Mundelin, Ill., Rev. Wm. Busch of St. Paul, Hildegard Busch, who is connected with a religious order at Wilmette, Ill., C.J. Busch of San Diego, California, Mrs. P.W. McKasy of St. Paul, Miss Margaret Busch of St. Louis and Bernard Busch of Baltimore, Md. Funeral services will be held at St. Luke's church, St. Paul, tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock and at St. Joseph's church in this city with a celebration of requiem high mass Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. A. Carey will officiate. The body will be place in the vault at Oakwood cemetery for burial in Calvary cemetery in the spring.
