Long Illness Fatal To Wyoming Farmer

William Jarrett Barker, one of a family of 15, and survived by 11 children, died Monday afternoon at St. Vincent's hospital following an illness of several weeks' duration. Death was caused by a complication of diseases.
He was born at Sandy Hook, Ky. Feb. 1, 1862. Sixteen years ago he moved to Sheridan, Wyo., and has since made his home in Wyoming. He followed farming.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four brothers, four sisters, and 11 children. The children are Mrs. Milo K. McKade and Mrs. A.R. Harper, Dayton, Wyo., and Harry, Theodore, Lama, Scota, John, Kathryn, Arthur, Edna and Henry, all of Acton.
The body will be taken to Sheridan this evening and the funeral service held Wednesday.
