Travis Guthrie, 9 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Guthrie, who live between New York and Leagueville, died at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon following a ten day illness with pneumonia, the Review was informed Friday morning by Dr. A.C. Horton, County Health officer.

Funeral services were held Friday at Leagueville where interment followed.

The deceased is survived by his parents and two other children.

Researched by Jaycie Smith Rinehart:
In Memory of Little Travis Guthrie
God in Heaven sent a bright shining angel to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Guthrie on the sad night of November 28th and took from them a precious gift that He had given them only nine years ago. His little footsteps and loving words will be greatly missed in the dear home and hearts that he has left behind. But Jesus knew best to carry him home to be a little shining angel among the happy band in Heaven.
With the help of God, we hope to meet with little Travis some sweet day, when all our trials are pass away.
- By his aunts, Mrs. Nora Regan, Mrs. Ella Guthrie and Mrs. Leila Hopson
