Mr. J. P. (Pete) Beverly
Mr. J.P. (Pete) Beverly, 82, died Thursday morning (Jan. 18, 2001) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was a Waycross native and a lifelong resident. He was the son of late Lewis Cleveland Beverly and Katie Pearl Tuten Beverly.
He was retired owner of the Auto Body Repair Shop and was a member of Woodmen of the World.
The survivors include his wife, Mary Jordan Beverly of Waycross; a son, Donnie M. Beverly (wife Kathy Lynn) of Kingsland; two granddaughters, Mary Jeanette Winkle (husband Chris) of Kingsland, Jennifer Lynn Bryson (husband Bo) of Kansas City, MO; a great grandson, Christopher James Winkle II, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 21, 2001)in the Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel.
The family is receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Saturday evening from 7 until 9 oclock. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Hebardville Baptist Church.
