WALKER, ADDIE COFFEY - age 79 of Mascot passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Mom was always known as a very kind and loving person, and it is certainly appropriate that she was reunited with her soul mate, Bill, on the day that is universally recognized as the "Day of Love." She was a faithful and charter member of Gilead Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, William A. (Bill) Walker; and son, William K. (Ken) Walker. Addie was the last surviving child of Sarah and Jake Coffey. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Lawanda and Dewey Foust, Roma and Butch Brasher; son, Benny Walker; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Aileen Walker; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many friends and relatives. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Friday, February 15, 2008, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with her pastor, Rev. Mike Goodson and Rev. Lawrence Ford officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 AM Saturday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to New Corinth Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Huffaker Family Foundation for the Roseberry Baptist Church Food Pantry, 2920 Roseberry Road, Mascot, TN, 37806. Addie was a dedicated and regular contributor to the food pantry, and the family requests that you honor her in this way. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Bridges Funeral Home. Happy Valentine's Day, Mom. We will miss you, but we know you are in a much better place. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
