COFFEY, MARY MAGDALENE SPIRES - age 89 of Rutledge, passed away April 14, 2007 at Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home. She was a member of Avondale Baptist Church and was preceded in death by: her husband, Avery Coffey and grandson, Randy Myers. Survivors include: son, Richard A. Coffey of Belleville, Minnesota; daughters and sons-in-law, Norma Ruth and Lawrence Myers of Talbott; Rhonda and Bascom Whitt of Rutledge; grandchildren, Pamela and Joe Baker of Knoxville, Christopher and April Myers of Jefferson City; Jennifer Whitt and Michael L. Whitt of Rutledge; great grandchildren, Corey, Ashley and Benjamin Baker of Knoxville, Peyton Myers of Jefferson City; great great grandchildren, Tyler and Tasha Baker of Knoxville; sister- in-law, Addie C. Walker of Mascot; brother-in-law, Dan Davis of Corryton; several nieces, nephews and friends of the family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Avondale Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Buell and Rev. J.C. Morgan officiating. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Dr. Lance Patton, Dr. Jeffrey Baerman, Dr. Harold Morrill, and staff, along with Ridgeview Nursing Home for all their kindness and support. The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge. Smith Funeral Home of Rutledge in charge of arrangements.
