OBITUARY

Isaac Rock Miller was born June 12, 1874 in Cascade Township, Kent County, Michigan. He departed this life November 23, 1929 at the age of 55 years, 5 months, and 11 days.

He was married January 8, 1896 to Cora May Peel. To this union 9 children were born, the youngest dying in infancy.

He is survived by his wife, his son's Harry L. Miller of Ravenna, Ohio, Maynard L. of Middleville, Russell and Howard at home, his daughters, Mrs. Bertha Peel of Evart, Mrs. Mildred Snyder of Caledonia, Mrs. Eythol Schrouder of Grand Rapids, and Virginia at home, one brother, Neil of New Milford, Ohio, five sisters, Mrs. Charles Heintzelman of Farwell, Mrs. P.L. King of Sparta, Mrs. Rebecca Heintzelman of Dutton, Mrs. Henry Bleam of Home Acres, Mrs. Sam Finkbeiner of Caledonia.

He joined the East Caledonia Methodist Church of which he was a trustee in 1903 and remained in that faith until his death. He was also a member of the Masonic, Odd Fellows, and Rebekah lodges of Caledonia.

Services were held Tuesday at 1 O'clock at the Caledonia Methodist Church. Burial was in Caledonia Cemetery.
