On March 27, 1927, he was united in marriage to Emma Bacon and to this union four children were born. Survivors include his wife, Emma; one son, Small of Ft Leonard Wood; two daughters, Bertha Mae Watson of Waynesville and Mrs Pauline Sherrell of Dixon; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs Liza Watson of the Long Nursing Home, Leanon; six brothers, George, Leslie, Emmett of St Louis; Homer of High Ridge, MO., Clemence of Ellisville, Mo., and Frank of Dixon; three sisters, Mrs Ellen Schance of Chicago, Mrs Oma Hackler of Blackburn, Mo., and Mrs Ingra Allen of Dixon. He also leaves many other relatives. His father, one daughter, Alma and one brother and two sisters preceeded him in death.
