JOHN C. MOORE died at 2:30 o'clock Friday a.m. at his home at Bridgeport from pneumonia, after an illness of less than a week, aged 53 years. Mr. Moore was born at Clearspring and lived at Beaver Creek before removing to Bridgeport about three years ago. He was a farmer all his life and a member of the Red Men.
He is survived by his wife, and these children: Mrs. Clayton Lesher, Hagerstown ; Mrs. Robert Newcomer, Beaver Creek; Mrs. Kller Martin, Smithsburg; Daisy and Roy, at home; sister, Miss Lizzie Moore, Smithsburg; and brother, Jacob, Indian Springs.
Funeral Sunday, services at the house at 2:30 o'clock; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
