Her husband once was seen to have one of his girls by the heels, swinging her around swearing he’d bash her brains out on a gallery post. But an African American man snatched the girl away and hid her in a cotton field.
He tortured his wife to death. People remember the gory, blood stained mess inside the house. There were indentions on the walls where Myatt had hurled things and missed. Furniture and iron pots were bloodied, and a window was shattered through which Myatt had hurled his wife. Back steps, made of huge cutoff logs, were bloodstained where he had dragged her back into the house by the hair of her
