"MRS. HAROLD SMITH
JAMESTOWN – Mrs. Audrey Smith, 85, of 1201 Prendergast Ave., died Monday (Dec. 17, 1979) in the WCA Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Born June 10, 1894, in Dents Run, Pa., she was a daughter of Lester and Amy Jordan Losey. She married Leroy Pellam, who predeceased her in 1935. Later she married Harold Smith, who predeceased her in 1938.
Mrs. Smith had been employed as a housekeeper in the Binghamton and Jamestown areas.
Surviving are a granddaughter, Mrs. Nancy Murray of Rochester; four grandsons, Bernard L. Pellam Jr., Gary Pellam and James Pellam, all of Emporium, and Frederick Pellam of Rome, N.Y.; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Edward M. Barnett Funeral Home, Emporium, today from 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services win be held Thursday (Dec. 20, 1979) at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dean Hughes, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Emporium, will officiate. Burial will be in Rich Valley Cemetery."
