After Caroline's death he remarried to a Mrs Heron.
Wedding bells were ringing in our town last week. Mr. Philander Nash and Mrs. Heron were married on Tuesday last and now occupy the new dwelling on the hill. May peace and happiness attend them through the remainder of their lives, is the wish of their many friends.

Mr. Philander Nash, of Magnolia, aged 76 years, died of heart failure on Wednesday morning May 3, 1899. Funeral Friday at the house at 1 o'clock and at the church at 2 o'clock p.m.; Rev. W. Newton officiating clergyman. Mr. Nash was an old soldier of '61.
