According to family Records Aunt Ilene was born in Ridgway. However, Ridgway at one time appears to have been part of Montrose County, now it is in Ouray County. Popa Boyer told me once when we were decorating the graves in this cemetery that he and uncle William Boyer made headstones like this one. They poured the concrete and set the ID plate in them. We used to save the grass from mowing the yard and we put it on the graves along with flowers that Gma Boyer & Aunt Marie grew in their yards. A picnic lunch always followed. Roanna Dolan Griffin
