Harold Eugene Willis, Jr., 53, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Monday, July 31, 2000 in Charlotte, N.C.
Born March 24, 1947 in Caruthersville, he was the son of Mary Alice Hailey Edwards and the late Harold Eugene Willis. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Chris Smith.
He attended schools in Caruthersville, graduating in the High School Class of 1965.
Harold was employed by Intersouth Plumbing Services and was a member of the church of Christ.
Mr. Willis leaves three sons: Roger Allen Willis of Kennesaw, Ga., Thomas Edward Willis of Copan, Okla., and Robert Leslie Willis of Germany; One daughter, Melissa Kathleen Potthier, of Claremore, Okla.; Eight grandchildren: His mother, Mary Alice Edwards, of Caruthersville; One brother; Ralph Willis of Columbia, Mo.; and Two sisters: Brenda Mott of Caruthersville, and Patricia Bullock of Bedford, Tex.
Funeral services for Mr. Willis were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2000 at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with John Mark Wilson officiating.
Burial was at the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville with H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
Pallbearers were Bobby Mott, Jerry Mott, James Mott, Don Abernethy, Bill Broderick and Randy Osborn.
