ROSAMOND DURRELL
STRATTON- Rosamond C. Durrell, 80, died Tuesday at the Maine Medical Center in Portland following a short illness.
She was born in Eustis on March 12, 1902, daughter of Frank and Arvilla (Bean) Cox.
She was educated in the schools of Eustis.
She married Richmond A. Durrell on Dec. 24, 1920, at Stratton. He died on Feb. 8, 1974.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxilary of Stratton and a member of the Stratton Union Church.
She had lived for the past nine years with her son-in-law and daughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Calvary Bible Church in Stratton, with the Rev. Peter Bennett officiating.
Burial will be in the Upper Cemetery in Eustis.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Adams Funeral Home, 3 Court St., Farmington.
