Helen Lorene Seaton, 69, of Fort Smith died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, in a local hospital. She was a laborer for Allen Canning Co., a Pentecostal and attended Salvation Army Church. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Cottonwood Cemetery in Roland. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Batt and Patricia Moore, both of Fort Smith; four sons, Gary, Everett, Ricky and Ronnie Seaton, all of Fort Smith; two sisters, Viola Belcher of Van Buren and Lois Adams of Arkoma; a brother, Pete Sharpe of Mountainburg; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Larry Batt Jr., Wendell Carter, Charles Seaton Jr., Gary Seaton Jr., Dennis and Danny Adams and Eric Haynes.
