Annie Phillips Lloyd, 94, of Oliver Springs died Tuesday, April 3, 1990 in the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. A native of New River, Mrs Lloyd was the daughter of the late Tom and Elizabeth Kennedy Phillips and a member of Laurel Grove Baptist Church of Briceville. She had enjoyed raising flowers and
sewing. Mrs Phillips is survived by her husband; Marley Lloyd; three daughters, Sylvia Dean Bovington of Dayton, Ohio, and Mae (Mrs Matthew) Harness and Joyce (Mrs Jack) West, both of Oliver
Springs; two sons and their wives, Coy and Minnie Byrge of Petros and Roy and Neva Cantrell of Briceville; four brothers, Sam Phillips of Caryville, Ike Phillips of Indiana, John Phillips of Lake City, andEthel Phillips of Dutch Valley; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 PM Friday, April 6 in Laurel Grove Baptist Church with the RevEdwin Phillips officiating. The body will lie in state an hour before the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight, April 5 at Martin Lake City Funeral Home
