Obituary:
Mildred Corrine Cox, a Holdenville resident passed away Friday, October 22, 2004, at the Heritage Village Nursing Home, at the age of 91. Mildred was born July 2, 1913 to Sam Lee and Ollie Terry Lee in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was raised in the Horntown area and attended Moss schools. She married W. M. (Marion) Cox on June 1, 1935 in Holdenville. They lived in the Horntown area and she was employed at Moss school as a cafeteria cook. She was a member of the Banner Baptist Church. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son Dwayne Cox and wife Linda of Lamar: one brother, R. M, Lee of Seminole, and one sister Willene Moss of Holdenville: two granddaughters, Shelly Cox Oklahoma City, and Lisa May of Ada: two great-grandchildren, Rucker and Gracie May and other relatives and friends.

Graveside service were held at 11am on Monday, October 25, 2004 at Holdenville Cemetery.
