Wilson Elser 87, died at the home of his son, Charles, Dec. 22 after only a few days of illness. He was born Jan. 23, 1851 in Mahoning County, Ohio, the son of Peter and Susan Elser. As a young man he came with his family to Ind. where he married Melvina Fuller. They had four children, one son, Charles of York Twp; and one daughter, Mrs. James Kimmell of near Wolf Lake. A daughter, Mary Edna Cleland, passed away in March 1936, and her twin brother died an infant. The wife died in 1903. Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive. Funeral at the Methodist Church in Kimmell Dec. 24. Burial, Sparta Cemetery
