Funeral services for Charles E. Arnold, 51, of Walker, who died yesterday at the Baton Rouge General hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Walker Methodist church, with burial in the Walker cemetery. Rev. J. B. Bonnecarre will officiate.

Although born in Mississippi, Mr. Arnold has lived in Walker almost his entire life, where he was a well known merchant. He was a member of the Walker Methodist church.

Surviving are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. L. E. Watson, Jr., Miss Elmira Arnold, Miss Julia Mae Arnold and Miss Dorothy Jean Arnold, and one son, Charles E. Arnold, Jr., all of Walker; two sisters, F. R. Peak and Mrs. J. D. Fletcher of Walker; three brothers, B. C. Arnold of Istrouma, J. W. Arnold of Fairfields and Frank Arnold of Walker.
