Born July 27, 1928 to Lemuel and Anna Douglas Lewis, she was married to Russell Long, who preceded her in death.
She was a housewife who raised nine children. She attended Power of Faith Apostolic Pentecostal church.
Survivors include eight children, Betty Rose Elmore of Indianapolis, Edward Lee Coffey of Reelsville, Frankie Lee Coffey of Reelsville, Dennis Coffey of Martinsville, Theresa Clandile, Dale Hart of Crawfordsville, David Hart of Texas and Lisa Stringfield of Crawfordsville, along with four sisters, Helen Grubb of New Jersey, Marian Baber of Noblesville, Virginia Keller of Crawfordsville and Darlene Coffey of Indianapolis, many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one child, a brother, and a sister.
Graveside services will be 4 PM Saturday at Fairview Cemetery in North Salem with Bob Walters officiating.
Arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
