Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Neal Funeral Home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at Neal Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Tenn., with burial in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Officiating at the funeral will be John Henry and Neal Beard.
She was a native of Appleton, Tenn.
She is survived by her sons, Neal Beard (Cecelia), of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Joe Beard (Martha), of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; daughter, Lynda Riddle (Clyde), of Florence, Ala.; sister, Sue Bonee (J.E.), of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and special daughter, Connie Atkinson, of Florence, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tarley Edward and Ella Mae Clinard Wright; son, Gary Dwight Beard; and daughter, Jeanie Beard Fisher.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse and of the Baptist faith.
