Lucy Ella Fausett Sweat, 82, died January 27, 1992 at her home in Kearns.


Born June 25, 1909 in Wallsburg, Utah to Lewis and Lucy Lavina Bigelow Fausett.


Married Ervin Wallace Sweat on October 5, 1926 in Duchesne, Utah; he died on March 17, 1965.


She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as Relief Society secretary and Primary teacher.


Loved and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Enjoyed handwork, gardening and the outdoors. She'll be missed greatly by her family.


Survived by children, Gene Wallace, Doyle Dee, both Park City; LaDonna Peck, Magna; Glade Lewis Sweat and Mrs. Ray (Ecco) Benard, Kearns; Mrs. Max (Veola) Gines and Verl Sweat, both Tabiona; Mrs. Keith (Barbara) Williamson, Bountiful; Mrs. Jim (Karma) Giles, Salt Lake City; Mrs. R. W. (Verda) Benson, West Valley City; Mrs. Larry (RaNae) Gines, Riverton; 48 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Earl Fausett, Duchesne; Leonard Fausett, Sandy; John Fausett, Salt Lake City; Veneta Sweat, Farmington; Clara Schwinn, Bountiful. Preceded in death by a son, Dewey Ervin Sweat, a number of grandchildren, and one brother, Karl Fausett.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Kearns Twelfth Ward Chapel, 4260 West Sams Boulevard (5215 South). Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and on Thursday one hour prior at the Church.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
