MELLOTT - Mrs. Irene Bayless, 82, a former Mellott area resident, died Sept. 5 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. A native of Hillsboro, she was married to George L. Bayless, who survives. Mrs. Bayless was a member of Smartsburg Christian Church.
Surviving with the husband are two sons, Emory Parks of Crawfordsville and Marion Parks of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Ward Crumley of Mellott and Fred Crumley of Veedersburg; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Helmick of Hillsboro
