Inez Bonner Wright, 79, of Walker, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. Before moving to Walker, she raised her family in Port Acres, Texas. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting and making blankets. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. David Haiford and the Rev. Ray Johnson. Burial in Palmetto Cemetery, Walker.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Bettie and Jesse Flores, Pat and Roy Taylor, Fonda and Roy Buckley, W. Jack Jr. and JoAnna Wright, and Mark and Rosemarie Wright; 14 grandchildren, Ray, Tina, Yolanda, Tommy, Shara, Missy, Staci, Troy, Chris, Ben, Raven, Jamie, Amanda, and Maxine; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Derieg and Billie Jean Aldridge; brother, Thomas Bonner; and several special friends, including Mary Ann Thibodeaux, Geraldine Rushing and Pam Worsham.
Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jack Wright Sr.; parents, Thomas H. Sr. and Willie McCara Bonner; and stepmother, Ida Jackson.
