Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Free Methodist Church, Shelbyville, with burial in Mound Cemetery, Cowden. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the Free Methodist Church of Shelbyville.
She was born May 29, 1911, in Cowden, the daughter of John C. and Anna Tetrick Moore. She married the Rev. Lester S. Banning Sept. 27, 1932, in Cowden, and he died April 16, 1975.
Surviving is a son, Neal of Shelbyville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
One brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Banning was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Shelbyville and the Women's Missionary Society.
