Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2007 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, St. Cloud for Ellen E. Feichtinger, 99, who died Thursday at Sterling Park Health Care Center. Rev. Paul Zylla will officiate and be assisted by Deacon Carl Nord. Entombment will be in Assumption Mausoleum, St. Cloud. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, January 7th at the Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. Monday morning at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 6 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday. Arranaements are by the Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Ellen was born to the late Thomas and Elvina (Redemske) Durant in Rodman, Iowa. Ellen married Christ Feichtinger on August 12, 1924 in St. Mary's Catholic St. Cloud, MN. Ellen was a Catholic Charities Volunteer; she was on the City of St. Cloud Election Board for 48 years and lived all her life in St. Cloud.
Ellen is survived by her children: Richard (Sharron); Roger (Edie), and LaVonne Ostergaard; 10 grandchildren; 24 greatgrandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Edward; grandson Tom Ostergaard; great-grandsons Tyson and Brandon Davis.
