Matilda M Ahola, County Pioneer, Passes Tuesday
An 81-year-old pioneer resident of Centerville, Matilda Mattson Ahola, died Tuesday at 10 o'clock at the North Bonneville Nursing Home where she had been living for the the past four months.
Mrs. Ahola, born in Finland on March 14, 1872, cam into the United States at the age of three years and lived for many years in the Centerville area.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm at the Phillips Funeral Home and interment will follow in the Centerville Grange Cemetery, Rev. J.A. Dunn will officiate.
Her survivors include two sons, William and Walter Ahola of Centerville; two brothers, Arthur and Frank Mattson of Centerville; and six grandchildren, as well as a great hols of friends won through her long years of residence in this area.
